We wanted to have a small, intimate wedding that was very 'us', including having one of our close friends marry us.
Cate was so flexible and willing to work with our friend Ariane, on our special 'two celebrant' kind of ceremony.
Cate worked with Ariane so professionally, in order to fulfil our wishes for our very special day, ensuring the script and the ceremony flowed well, sharing her experience and expertise and conducting the legalities of the day that Ariane could not.
The ceremony was so memorable and we received lots of comments from our guests on how it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies they'd witnessed - all thanks to Cate's personable touch, her extensive experience and utmost professionalism. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the amazing job you did as our celebrant. Looking back now we both can't imagine having anyone else there go through it all with us. You were the perfect fit for us. You brought such a calming warm confident energy with you which put both of us at ease. The ceremony flowed beautifully as if we had rehearsed it a thousand times. You speak eloquently, so clear and sweet. As we found out the months before the wedding with all the planning, it can be busy stressful and joyus all at the same time. The support you offered us during these months was beyond all measures. You were so flexible with your schedule with our meetings and helped both of us individually through the journey of writing our own vows which is actually harder than it seems. Cate was our Wedding Celebrant at our Wedding at Manly Lagoon Park on 19 December 2015. We can't recommend Cate enough. Her service was fantastic, she helped us to draft and finalise the layout of our Ceremony and gave us great advice as to what to include and what to limit in order to achieve the Ceremony we wanted most which was short, sincere and casual. Cate also made beautiful ribbons for us at short notice, for our hand binding ceremony. The colours of the ribbons represented the places we had grown up ie; light blue and sand colour for the bride who grew up at the beach and red and green for the groom who grew up with the red earth of the outback and green bush. We also added a white ribbon to represent our Marriage. Cate was amazing on the day. She was calm, collected and professional and gave great support and guidance to the bridal party assisting us with where we had to be and what we had to do. Cate was our Marriage Celebrant when we got married in 2011. It was the second time around for both of us and there were 4 young adults (our kids) to be integrated into the 'new' family. Cate helped us put together a beautiful service whereby 3 of the 4 young adults read wonderful poems or blessings and all 4 participated in the candle lighting ceremony.
